How to Make
Ingredients:
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup almonds
1 cup cashews
3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins
1 cup dried cherries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut, dried fruit.
In a small sauce pan combine honey, maple syrup, butter and salt. Bring to a simmer. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 sheet pans (I likeĀ to use stoneware sheet pans for more even browning) lined with parchment paper. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an evenly dark brown color.
Remove from oven and cool completely before storing in mason jars.
